Söke Bazaar
Weekly Bazaars are the most interesting and mystical part of Turkish daily life and are the most important trade event of the week for many.
Söke is a large town in the province of Aydin in western Turkey near the Aegean coast and every week on a Wednesday the large Söke Bazaar takes place providing locals and tourists with the chance to do a little shopping in Turkey.
Söke is surrounded by fertile land and agriculture plays a big part in Söke life, cotton, grains and olives are the most produced crops and can be found in the Söke Bazaar to buy.
Located around an hour away by road from your self-catering accommodation at Apollonium, Söke Bazaar is a traditional Turkish bazaar full of fresh fruit, vegetables, textiles and virtually anything else you can think of buying.
Soke Outlets
Another part of shopping in Turkey and shopping on holiday are the outlet stores that sell a large amount of international and Turkish branded goods at knock down prices.
In Söke along the main street are four outlets housing shops such as Adidas, Quicksilver, Nike, Benetton and Levis among others. A day trip to Söke from Apollonium can be arranged or you can make your own way there by car or Dolmus.
