In the Ochil hills on the nearby Gleneagles Estate, the Frandy Fishery focuses on fly fishing for quality rainbow, brown and blue trout in their upland reservoir set amid stunning scenery. The reservoir is stocked weekly which ensures no shortage of fish and guests of Duchally Country Estate can enjoy a discount of 10% when using Frandy Fishery.
Orchill Loch provides a picturesque and tranquil environment for a perfect Scottish fishing experience. Not uncommon to catch fish in the 3lb – 8lb range the loch is stocked twice weekly with hard fighting rainbow trout and family groups are welcome. The loch is considered to be one of the best small waters in central Scotland and attracts many fishermen from far and wide.

Frandy Fishery
Frandy is a fly fishing upland reservoir based in the picturesque Ochill hills on Gleneagles Estate, Perthshire. This is fly fishing for rainbow, brown & blue trout in Scotland at its very best. The reservoir is well known for its scenic beauty and wide variety of bird life, including species such as: Osprey, Buzzard, Hen Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, Merlin and Red Kite. One of the major attractions of the reservoir is its remote ambience, although it is still very accessible. The reservoir is stocked on a weekly basis and includes a policy that ensures that there are more fish being introduced than are fished out throughout the season. The types of high quality fish that you will be able to catch include: Rainbows, Browns, and Blues, all of which are female and triploid and complement the indigenous Brown trout population very well.
Orchill Loch
Orchill Loch is set in a picturesque and quiet setting, offering the ideal location for a quality angling experience. The loch is regarded by many as one of the best small waters in the central belt of Scotland and receives regular visitors from far and wide. The whole family is welcome to enjoy a day of great fishing in a friendly environment. The water is stocked twice weekly with hard fighting Rainbows, there are always fish rising and the water is considered good for dry fly as it has an abundance of fly life. The fishery record stands at 15lb and it is not uncommon to catch fish in the 3lb-8lb range guaranteed to put up a good fight!
